GENERAL QUESTIONS
What is TalentSheets?
TalentSheets is a suite of tools that simplifies your current process and easily converts your Google Drive into an influencer marketing platform with a more seamless experience. Started by experts in the space that have successfully built and exited their first influencer technology company and whose combined previous companies have managed more than $100M in annual influencer budgets, we built TalentSheets with the e-commerce, SMB, startup, and growth stage company in mind.
Which social media platforms do you integrate with?
Currently, our Chrome Extension and Google Sheet templates are compatible with TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. However, given the workflow is done within Google Sheets, the manual addition of additional platform stats and information is allowed and encouraged. We’re continuously tweaking and updating, so if there are enough requests for additional integrations, we’ll work to implement as possible.
How does the recommended tab work within the TalentSheets Chrome Extension?
During your onboarding process, you’ll answer two simple questions - a) What gender is your core consumer? and b) Which verticals are relevant to your company? With every addition of an influencer to a TalentSheet, those tags are appended. We then search our database of more than 225,000 influencers for talent that are similar in projected performance, engagement, and have relevant overlapping tags. This information is being updated daily. You can easily change tags based upon product needs within the data tab in your TalentSheets Template.

How many talent are in your database?
We have more than 225,000 social media influencers in our database and are adding more daily.
Which countries does your database cover?
Currently, we focus on English-speaking influencers from the U.S., Canada, Australia, the UK and New Zealand. However, there are talent being added from all over the world as new users are using TalentSheets daily. We are continuously building our database and expanding into different countries.
I have my own templates for influencer marketing, do I need to use the TalentSheets Templates?
No. Currently, we have two offerings a) a blank template and b) the core TalentSheets Template. The core TalentSheets Template is based upon a decade’s worth of influencer management and set up in the simplest way to allow for easily managing the entirety of your influencer campaigns – from identification and recruitment to UTM and Bitly creation to product shipment tracking and notifications to performance measurement and management. However, if you prefer to just add talent to your own templates, we recommend easily adding influencers to the blank template with a simple click of the Chrome Extension, then adding your template here. Please feel free to submit your templates for integration into our template library. If we select your template to be added, we will compensate you for the design, as well as be able to ensure a more seamless TalentSheets experience within your current work flow.
How do I cancel my TalentSheets Free Trial or Monthly Subscription? THE NUTS & BOLTS
The TalentSheets Chrome Extension displays “expected views”, what is this?
We’re pulling recent video stats and taking a derivative of their median views across this sample size based upon their performance at the precise moment you run the extension. This is how you’ll know you’re getting the most up-to-date and relevant projections. When importing this data into a TalentSheets Template, you’ll see the Expected Views as a comparison to their Average Video Views (AVV). Typically, we prefer working with talent who have at minimum an expected view count of 10% of their total subscriber base. Please note, expected views is a functionality of YouTube only.
What is engagement rate and why should I care?
Engagement rate indicates how active an audience is. These are the actions taken on content created by influencers (i.e. clicks, likes, etc.). Ideally, you’d want to partner with someone who creates content that drives action, rather than a passive viewership. Typically, we prefer working with talent that have at minimum a 3% engagement rate. The higher the better..
Can you help me understand suggested base rate? Why is it such a broad range?
We’ve seen the most success backing into a positive ROI when treating influencer marketing as a media buy. Given market norms, we use expected views as a proxy against a $0.02 - $0.10 CPV (cost per view) on YouTube and a $4 - $12 CPM (cost per 1000 impressions) on Instagram in order to suggest a fair value. Unfortunately, the influencer space has a broad range of pricing that takes into account many factors like type of integration (e.g. ranging from fully dedicated to a “sponsored by” title card), the level of production needed, ownership or licensing rights, distribution rights, engagement rate and many more factors. The more you’re asking for, the more you should be willing to pay. As a general rule of thumb, we recommend trying to stay in the $0.04-$0.08 CPV range for YouTube and the $5 - $8 CPM for Instagram.
You mention bitly creation, do I need a bitly account in order to use the TalentSheets Templates?
Right now, bitly is the only link shortener that is compatible with the TalentSheets template. In order to better track your performance we highly recommend using a link shortener. If you prefer a different link shortener, you’d be better served to use the TalentSheets Chrome Extension in conjunction with the blank spreadsheet option. However, through API access we’re able to generate bitlys and pull click data with the simple click of a button. Unless you prefer to have custom bitlys, the free version is enough to support your influencer marketing needs.
How does shipment tracking work? Which delivery services are integrated in TalentSheets?
All you need is your tracking number and TalentSheets will track shipping and notify you by email that your talent has received your product package in order to better manage the entire influencer process. We currently support USPS, UPS, and FEDEX.
What if I want to have someone manage this for me?
Feel free to send us an email at info@talentsheets.com and we’ll broker an intro to our preferred agency, Honest Social, for potential support. We could not recommend them enough if you are trying to use influencers as an acquisition channel.
LEGAL STUFF
How does payment work? Which methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards through Stripe, a PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the highest grade of payment processing security. All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and browsers interact with Stripe only over HTTPS due to HSTS Security.
Do I have to purchase an annual plan or do you offer monthly rates?
You can absolutely pay monthly, if preferred. We’ve tried to keep the price point as low as possible to ensure that anyone can more effectively manage and execute their influencer marketing efforts. The default billing is set to annual, as that provides the most value for you. Annual payment gives you a nearly 46% discount compared to the monthly plan, unlocks a 15-minute legal consultation to expand upon the contract templates we’ve built for your needs, and ensures we’ll continue to add to your folders with additional templates and pro-tips throughout the year.
How can I cancel my subscription?
We’d hate to see you go, but cancellation is easy. Cancel any time by sending an email to info@talentsheets.com with the subject line “PLEASE CANCEL” and the email address associated with your account in the body of the email. We will send confirmation of receipt and cancellation.
